Commissioned by the Cheltenham International Festival of Music with funds from South West Arts.

First performed by Endymion (Helen Keen, Melinda Maxwell and Asdis Valdimarsdottir) on Friday 4 July 2003 in the Pittville Pump Room, Cheltenham.

Broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 10^th July 2003.
