Written for The Glinka Trio (Spencer Pitfield, Antal Mojzer and Risto Lauriaala) for their tour of Finland in November 1998.

First performances by them at Nurmes, Kuusomo, Lahti and Ruokolahti, and subsequently in the UK and USA.
